Salle des étoiles

A wedding underneath the stars

A wedding underneath the stars

Be warned, this room is an instrument, not a backdrop. It rewards couples with a real artistic vision and it punishes anyone who treats it like an ordinary banqueting hall. Our method: we write the evening like a show, with sequences, lighting breaks and a high point every forty minutes. The roof opening has to be choreographed, never incidental. We trigger it on a specific piece of music, never during service. Below three hundred guests, we would steer you to the Salle des Palmiers instead.

There is a moment in the Salle des Étoiles that nothing quite prepares you for. The roof opens. Slowly. And the Mediterranean sky comes into the room, above your guests, in the middle of dinner. Nobody carries on with their conversation. Built on the Larvotto peninsula at the heart of the Sporting Monte-Carlo, this is one of the most striking event spaces in Europe. Close to a thousand square metres of fully modular floor, wide glazed bays facing the sea, a stage that reconfigures to any format, and acoustics and audiovisual equipment designed for major international concerts. Since it opened in 1974, the artists who have performed here form a list you hesitate to start reciting. For a wedding, that scale unlocks possibilities that exist nowhere else on the Riviera. A full orchestra, a staged show, a surprise performance, a cake entrance lit like a finale. The room absorbs everything without ever feeling empty, provided you know how to fill it intelligently. This is the venue for the big celebrations. The ones guests are still talking about years later.
